PROBLEM

When playing a Panopto video in the Chrome browser on a Mac with El Capitan, the picture shows only grey.

CAUSE

The browser does not work with hardware acceleration on some Nvidia graphic cards.

SOLUTION

Disable the hardware acceleration in the Chrome browser:

1. Click the menu
2. Click Settings
3. Scroll down and expand the Advanced settings
4. Scroll down and disable Use hardware acceleration when available
5. Relaunch the browser
